We’re excited to invite you to register for Smart Cycling, hosted by GoTriangle and taught using the nationally recognized curriculum from the League of American Bicyclists. This class supports GoTriangle’s mission to create a connected, accessible, and sustainable transportation network for our region—one where people can move safely and confidently, no matter how they choose to travel.

Smart Cycling is designed to teach cyclists how to ride safely, confidently and efficiently on the road. The class focuses on understanding how bicycles should operate in real-world traffic, the rules of the road, and how all users—drivers, cyclists, and pedestrians—can share the roadway more safely. Participants gain practical insights into visibility, positioning, communication, and decision-making that apply across all modes of transportation.

Motorists and bus drivers can especially benefit from this course. Understanding how and why cyclists make certain choices helps reduce uncertainty, prevent close calls, and build mutual respect on the road. For professional drivers, this perspective can translate directly into safer interactions, smoother operations, and increased confidence when navigating mixed-traffic environments.

By participating in Smart Cycling, you’re helping advance safer streets, stronger communities, and a more resilient transportation system for everyone. We encourage you to register and be part of creating a culture of safety and shared responsibility on our roads.
